Our Journey

America’s Snowboard Team

America’s Snowboard Team (AST) is a newly formed independent group of athletes in pursuit of a common goal: qualifying for and medaling in the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games.  We’re a team of serious competitors who exemplify the Olympic spirit and have come together in an athlete orientated organization, built by athletes for athletes.

Our team is committed to providing the best coaching, training, resources, and team environment to see that each member reaches their highest potential.  We hope to insure that the next generation of riders has the same opportunity we’ve had,  to compete at the highest level of international snowboard competition. Through hard work and personal involvement, we’ll positively promote our Country, our sport, our sponsors, and the humanitarian mission of life-saving organ and tissue donation through the Chris Klug Foundation.

This site will be your portal into our journey.  Check back often to follow our progress and reconnect with us.

Thanks,

Chris

With the Olympic year upcoming, we hope to see members of the AST on the US Team and on the podium in Vancouver! Good for you for getting the sponsorship needed and for making this happen. Great training ahead, and a fun race season too!

This is exciting news! Great work and good luck.

Can we expect to see a “support” or “products” page on here where we can buy t-shirts, hats, stickers, etc? Or just make donations directly? I’d love some AST stickers.

Do you expect to add more athletes to the team? Are the team race bibs going to be Hooters’ waitress shirts? ;-) .
